Questions people ask

How do I get my purchases back?

Purchases belong to your Apple ID or Google account, so they come back on any device signed in to the same one, even after deleting and reinstalling the game. The game checks when it starts. If something is missing:

Tap 🎨 Decorate, then the 🎁 Packs tab.
Open any pack and tap Restore purchases.

Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. Still missing? Email us.

Is my shop saved? What about a new phone?

Your shop saves by itself as you play, on your device only. We don't keep a copy, so we can't bring a lost shop back. If you delete the app, your shop is deleted with it (your purchases aren't: see above). Setting up a new phone from a backup of your old one usually brings your shop along.

What does the game cost?

It's free to download, with no ads. You can buy the Full shop (more rooms, floors, colors and helpers) and decoration packs (room looks, outfits and outside scenes). Each is a one-time purchase: no subscriptions, no random paid rewards, and nothing that has to be bought again.

What stops my child buying things without asking?

Every purchase in the game starts with a grown-up check: the game asks for a number written in words (like "forty-seven") to be typed on a number pad, different each time. After that, your phone's own purchase screen appears, so its parental controls apply too:

iPhone and iPad: turn on Ask to Buy in Family Sharing, or limit in-app purchases in Screen Time.
Android: require purchase approval with Google Family Link, or turn on "Require authentication for purchases" in the Play Store settings.

Is it safe for kids? Is there chat or ads?

There's no chat, no friend list, no ads and no way to talk to other players. The game collects no personal information (see our privacy policy). Sharing is a picture and a link that your child sends through your phone's own share menu, and shop names go through a word filter.

Can I turn off the notifications?

Yes. The app only sends one kind: a reminder when your shop's earnings are ready while you're away. Turn it off in ⚙️ Settings → Shop notifications, or in your phone's settings. Sounds, music and vibration are in ⚙️ Settings too.

The game is slow or my phone gets warm.

Try ⚙️ Settings → Graphics → Faster. Big shops with lots of customers are the most work for a phone. If it's still slow, email us with your phone's model and roughly how big your shop is.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store you bought from: Apple's Report a Problem page or Google Play's refund page.

Does it work offline?

Yes, you can play anywhere. Buying or restoring purchases needs the internet.
